Sharda Bajaj is a 65-year-old lady from Pune. With a growing age, she started seeing her weight becoming a problem for her health. But she knew she could fight it. It was then that she approached Truweight Wellness. Here’s her story.
Did you have any health concern before joining Truweight?
I was always very slim and trim but slowly and steadily I started gaining weight. It was mainly after I reached my menopause at the age of 56yrs. And 14 years ago, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism.
I have been a florist and a wedding planner for 23 years, a highly stressful job with no time schedules. I would end up eating at wrong times and unhealthy foods as we ate whatever was available. And that made me suffer an unhealthy lifestyle which brought health issues like knee problem along with the weight.
How was life before Truweight?
I started shunning taking out photos or looking in the mirror, as I was growing less confident about my body and health.In 2013 I went to the USA and then I realized that I was too overweight and couldn’t walk a lot when I returned I went to an orthopedic doctor who told me that my right knee was damaged and that I should exercise a lot.
I then went to the naturopathy centers in urli Kanchan and Pune but I would lose only about 3 kgs and the would bounce back again.
How was your journey with Truweight?
I got a few messages from Truweight around the time when I was fighting hard against my weight. I thought that I could give it a try since it is a natural weight loss program.They sent their representative who checked my BMR.
I took their package as I found it interesting as they said I didn’t have to starve myself to lose weight.
The first was a detox box, following which my weight started steadily going down. I started getting positive and over a period of 10 months, I lost 14 kgs.I felt lighter and the pain in my knee was also reduced.

How did Truweight program work for your weight gain?
Following the diet and the suggestions given by the dietician assigned to me, I saw my BMR coming up and hence it helped me to burn the calories. I was also allowed to enjoy a cheat meal once in a while. They guide you to choose the foods correctly.
