  1. Blend the fresh sweet basil to a coarse paste while pouring the olive oil while the processor in running.
  2. Add the salt and lemon juice.

  1. Blend the oregano and garlic in a food processor.
  2. Now start pouring the olive oil while the processor is running.
  3. Bring the ingredients in a finely chopped state.
  4. Now add the feta and blend for around ten more second.
  5. Refrigerate this in an air tight container.

  • 2 ripe avocados, pitted and peeled

  • A pinch of chilli flakes or red chilli powder

Method

  1. Add the lemon juice, salt and chilli flakes to the avocado pulp and mash until the mixture is combined well.
  2. Use it over bread slices or with fresh fruits or vegetables sticks.
  3. Refrigerate this in an air tight container.

Method

5. Zucchini and Nutmeg Spread

Ingredients

  • 4 medium size grated zucchini
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 cloves of crushed garlic
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • A quarter teaspoon nutmeg
  • Quarter teaspoon salt
  • A quarter teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice

Method

  1. Cut onions finely and lightly fry them over medium heat.
  2. Add the crushed garlic and fry some more.
  3. Now add the grated zucchini and fry for one more minute.
  4. Add all the spices and salt and leave it to simmer for around half an hour.
  5. Blend it to a smooth paste in a food processor when the mixture cools.
